Back when I had an H3 with the 5 cyl engine I got 15 local and 19 highway. Don't have it anymore as I went through 3 engines in 60,000 miles.

My H3 (3.7L I-5 Engine, 242 HP) gets 14-15 MPG around town and about 18 Highway. As good or better than many SUV's and pickups and better than a Toyota FJ Crusier because the FJ HAS to use High Test fuel!

I drove 630 miles in an H2 and I was getting an average of 13.392 miles per gallon. I couldn't believe it myself, but I verified the calculation twice.
